As a new member your private message privileges are not yet activated. You MUST activate them yourself, by following the simple process outlined in the photo (below).

You must participate in the forums... this means posting topics, replying to other topics that have been posted, introduce yourself on a forum, this will also help you make friends here! And remember, short postings like "Hi", "How are you", "I'm new here" or just a smiley don't count, they have to be substantial contributions.
