How to sleep at night when you are always worried ?
Hi lonelierbydozens
Best to do some exercise in the day - say like going to the gym and having a good work out. This may help and you will rest easier at night..
Hope this helps..
Jaz
No eating at least 3 hours before going to bed
No TV for at least an hour before going to bed
Listen to quiet relaxation music in bedÂ
Read a book in bed
do some exercise before sleep, listen some light music and don't think more.
What are you worried about? That's the first problem.
So first off you have to find out what it is that's keeping you from being able to get to sleep. Is this something new or is this a problem that's been going on for a long time? If it is a long-standing problem then you need to go to see your doctor to make sure that your problem is not organic. You can't just ignore that it might be the symptom of a medical problem.
If it's not organic then you've got to unwind, deal with what it is that's worrying you and learn to stop worrying so much. Relaxation exercises, stretching and other physical exercises, relaxation music all help; but nothing helps like CHANGING the way you deal with life. You have got to force yourself to STOP worrying. Look at what worries you - I guarantee that you worry about past events gone wrong, things that are totally out of your control so you can't change them; or you worry about things in the future that will probably never happen anyway. Either way you can worry forever and it will do absolutely no good. If you see EVERYTHING as a catastrophy then you are in need of help.
Too many people spend their time worrying over the past. You can't change the past, you can't go back and undo something that's already been done, unsay something already said, you can't UNRING THE BELL. Worrying is senseless, you're just beating yourself up if you do this. Others are lock themselves into a constant state of worry about the future...what if? what if? what if? Most of the time they are worrying about something that NEVER happens so they've wasted their time completely and tortured themselves needlessly.
Look at life this way:
Yesterday is HISTORY. Tomorrow is a MYSTERY. Today is a GIFT - That's why we call it the PRESENT.
Live for right now, stop thinging about the past or the future. You'll find things a lot easier.
Also try to eat a banana or two about an hour before bed. They're loaded with natural triptophans which will help you stop worrying.

ok sleep well.. this too funny
Yoga & exercise are the best options. If you can go for a brisk walk every day or jog till you tire yourself, it would definitely help. Another thing you can do is, read till you fall asleep!
All good advice...ZZzzzzzzzzz
I only allow myself one cup of coffee in the morning, avoid caffeine loaded stuff after midday. A glass of warm milk before bedtime. If you don't have terminal illness, don't worry about anything else...life is too short, the rest are just material stuff.
Mas....your sheep must be very interesting to get you excited. LOL.
Breathe in, breathe out.....really deeply. No harm done, if anything it helps your organ getting more oxygen.

I'm afraid I don't know how to play a simple electric organ, much less a traditional pipe organ.
However, a few girls have managed to blow a tune out for me.

There's nothing naughty about the word, "organ".
Cucumber, maybe.
Not sure that's the point. Sheep with cucumber. Far too much carry on abroad
Is this a regular problem for you or a recent occurrence? I've had a number of clients that have had sleeping issues, and I just thought I would flag to you to take it seriously if it is a regular thing because it can be a symptom of underlying depression.
Just as a tip - there is a great book called 'The Chimp Paradox' which is a mind management system that works well for people who are habitual worriers. It has been used by many members of the British Olympic team to manage unwanted thoughts and behaviours.
Hope this helps - contact me if you want to chat further!

I think I know who that is about.
if you have nutmeg in the kitchen, put it a little bit in your drink or make a simpel chicken soup.
hope this could be a help to cure your no-sleep
try to pray before you sleep, believe that there is nothing eternal in this life, crying will end, laughing will end, bad, good, happy, sad, cry, and laugh will be in our life circle
I try to get rid of all my problems by lunchtime that way I sleep easier.

by eating 'em all?
wow
never worry your worries cause if you worry your worries your worry will worry you till it became nightmare......
what I mean is when problem occured try to face or at least look for a better solution before the day ends, sometimes worries could hunt you till you sleep and turned into nightmares.
there is no how to sleep. when ever i am worried i cant sleep the hole night, its difficult to sleep as for me i never can sleep.
I have insomnia issues too. For years now, I have been listening to audiobooks to distract myself. Sometimes the narrator is more important than the story itself. Check out audible.com. Better yet, see if your local library has audiobooks. Best of luck to you!
