you see google has not already visited Jordan from KSA so it can not be as confined as you will be!!

As Alliecat said driving from Khobar to Jordan can be very hectic. Your route will be roughly (Khobar - Jouf (624kms) - Ghurayyat (260 kms) and then cross border to Jordan). Another 100 or so Kms after crossing the border to Amman.

If you are going to dead sea then you need to drive up from Amman and if to Aqaba or Wadi Rum - drive down, not sure abt the Kms though.

oh then its going to be a hectic!! it will be better to take a flight and drive only to bahrain!!!
