Suggestions for Beirut

Hi dear all,

I'm planning to come to Beirut for travelling and I need your suggestions. Please find below,

1- I'm planning to stay for a week and I need a hotel where is near to central and historical areas. what's your opinions?

2- As I know Lebanon cuisine is similar to Turkish cuisine and this is so important for me because I'm keen on food Where can I find traditional restaurant or sth like places ? and the other suggestions.

3- which season is the best to come to Beirut? ( I don't like so hot weather )

... that's not all! I'm open to all suggestions
