Greeting to all 玩偶姐姐 member,

i would like to understand more detail about how to come hourly rate and Overtime calculation to help me and all expat community

Option #1
= Basic Salary /聽 240 hours = ? One hours Rate
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽( 30 days x 8 hr/ day = 240 hrs )

Option #1
Or
= Basic Salary /聽 208 hours = ? One hours Rate
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽( 26 working days x 8 hr/ day = 208 hrs )

Example
Option #1聽 Basic salary 100 BHD聽 ( 100 / 240 = 0.417 hourly rate)
Day Overtime聽聽聽=聽 0.417 x 1.25 = 0.521
Night Overtime聽 =聽 0.417 x 1.50 = 0.625

which is correct salary computation

First of all, it is not 30*8.聽 Labor law mandates that an employee shall get a weekly rest day off and / or working hours not to exceed 48 hour per week.聽聽So adjusting that, it takes it to 26.聽 So option #2 is correct.
