Public transport??

Bus to Jerez.

Bus from Jerez to Algeciras.

Bus from Algeciras to La Linea.

Five minute walk across the frontier. 

No idea how long the trip from Jerez to Alg takes, prob 2 or 3 hours.

Forty minutes or so from Alg to La Linea.

Linesur looks like the bus company to check out. runs a route between Seville and Algeciras via Jerez.

I live in Germany and my boyfriend just moved to Gibraltar for a new job. I want to come visit and I have a flight booked for Jerez. I just can't seem to find any viable connections to Gibraltar.
Can you please help?

Here is some stuff from a site I found:

Place of arrival: Jeréz de la Frontera

Horario del autobús desde Jerez - Algeciras - Linesur

7:15 - 9:00 - 12:00 14:30 16:45 - 18:00 - 20:00

Winter 21:45 - Summer 22:15

I'm thinking you should be able to get here ok with those buses.

Sorry, don't know how good your spanish is.  That is the timetable from Jerez to Algeciras from the Linesur service.   They are departure hours.

I got a cheaper flight to Jerez and thought it's almost the same as Malaga, distancewise...will know better next time
thanks for the bus info. it takes forever though. and since I'm only there for 4 days I want to spend as little time possible on transit.
I'll have to hire a car probably.

Hope you have a lovely stay. There are car hire companies at Jerez airport AFAIK.
