MoT in Bulgaria

GuestPoster1101101

My car just passed it's first MoT (Technical Inspection) since it's KAT registration last year.

The test comprised of:

Front wheel brake test on rollers

Rear Wheel brake test on rollers

Hand brake test on rollers

Front and rear lights and indicators.

A 30 second walk underneath, shaking something!

And, that's it!

The Mustang had also passed a few months ago, that time was same as above, but they also wobbled the front wheels looking for excessive play.

I've seen a few posts where people have mentioned emissions testing - has anyone had tests undertaken with more, or even less tests than described above?

On the one hand I'm pleased, as my memories of getting MoTs in UK with my early bangers was stressful. But it doesn't provide any confidence of the road worthiness of the other cars on the road with such minimal testing.

I do all my own maintenance, and I'm confident I'd pass a UK test, but less confident of the wannabe Max Verstappens  out there.
