Can we start working directly after work permit approval? I already have a single permit and my previous employer ended my contract. I got a new job and the employer has applied for a WP and SP. Also guys who have been asked for additional information was that requested by employer or the approving authority?
Did someone recently got the SP/Annex 46?
does any bank in Belgium offer so called home loan(or "american mortgage", "property secured loan") , i.e. loan without fixed purpose where you guarantee the loan by the house(belgian property in ownership of the applicant)? Thanks for any suggestions
@nicjossub Hi, I got my workpermit approved on 31 July, waiting for residence permit, any updates, we have kind of similar timeline.
@Nimssss
Hello, unfortunately nothing yet.
I've done some estimates based on others timelines, and Im thinking I should hear something week of 23rd September.....
Im a bit okay with this, as there is a delay at the place Im getting two of the documents I need for VISA apostilled.
Once those documents are ready, then I will be anxious about the Annex46 - if its still not ready.

@stairsbrasher0v
You have been waiting for a whole year??
thats crazy.
Is there a reason for such a long wait?
@Nimssss
Ofcourse. will let you know. ;-)
You do same.
I contacted the immigration office and received a general reply that currently their processing times are around 8-12 weeks from the date of the decision of the competent region. For me that would be in mid October, but I should start working already in 1st October.
@Nimssss
Just got my Annex 46 10minutes ago.
All the best!!!
@nicjossub

But

@cdvs99
Thank you!!!
Yours is coming......
@stairsbrasher0v
Do you mean work permit on 22/08/2024?
@Kuldeep Kumar48
Hi, Have you got some reply?? You region is flanders as well right??
Region: Flanders
No-reply: 31/05/2024
Admissible: 1/07/2024
Request for more information: 12/09/2024
More information provided by the employer: 19/09/2024
WP: Waiting
SP: Waiting
My question is: Does the 120-day timeline reset when they ask for more information? How long does it take for them to evaluate the more information? Does anyone have experience with this?
Hypothetically, if I do not hear back anything for the WP and SP by the end of the 120 days from admissibility (deadline: 1/11/2024) does that automatically grant the annex 47?
I have a residence permit in the Netherlands that ends at the end of November 2024, and neither the Belgian embassy in NL nor the immigration office of NL have been helpful as to what happens if my residence permit expires and I do not have my Single Permit. This is a very stressful situation.
@hejamoghtadery
What I understand is that the 120 days count from the date the application is considered admissible, but the government can request an extension of that period. After the 120 days and no extension requested, the annex 47 is granted. This is my understanding.
@hejamoghtadery
by the way, I have a quite similar situation, I am also in NL, my residence expires in December and the deadline for my 120 days is mid November, but I am trusting will be alright and on time.
Hi everyone!
