When I lived in Sitka, I had a 25' boat that was moored in the harbor. I think the cost was under $100 a month.Â
Last time I checked in PR, the cost was much higher!  At those costs, If I ever get a boat, it may have to be small enough to trailer and keep out of the water.
Yea, I trailer mine and keep it at home, lots of people do, mine is small enough, but I've seen some very large boats on sides of homes and in back yards here, good option if you have the room.

How big is your boat? how far do you haul it to the launch? Â
My boat seemed like it was always the wrong size!! When coming into the harbor slip, it was too dam big! When out on the ocean, it was way too small!!! Â
Lol, it's only 20 ft, very small for the sea, but good for a calm day, I'm still looking for launch sites around Vega Baja / Dorado area, found a couple already, Dorado has a decent one, going to Rincon in a couple weeks to look there, thought I saw a good one there using google earth.
