I just listened to a conversation between my SO and her older housekeeper.

It's very interesting to listen the linguistic interaction of age and authority.

Without yet having the benefit of directly experiencing Vietnam, the members of this community both in real time and historical threads have provided deep insight into what it is like to live, work and play in what might become my future host country. From advice on visas, culture, food, locations and yes even a Schwab Debit card the sharing has been stellar. I too want to take this opportunity to wish everyone within this community and your loved ones a blessed, healthy and joyful Merry Christmas (if celebrated) and holiday season.
