Transfer

hthomas

Hello everyone,

I have a question for you, i arrived one month ago and I suscribe for a lease in asok area, I was supposed to stay there for 12 months but i want to go somewhere else, so I would like to stop this lease but I know I will loose my deposit and I dont want to sublease (dont want to be held responsible if the guy put my flat on fire)

Also is it possible to just transfer the lease to someone ? does the landlord must accept it (i mean if i find someone who want to take over my lease).

Thanks in advance for your answers

if you can find someone, you can transfer the lease just talk to the owner

no problem, you are welcome

there are some groups in Facebook, like desperately seeking Bangkok, Bangkok expat, post that you can find someone to take over lease

Never done that

Have you ask your landlord about you want to move out before time ?

I have move out 3 time before my lease was finish, and every time i got all my money back, and never a bad word from the landlord´s.

So why not try talking to the landlord, maybe you can make a "good deal" that they both of you can live with.
