My plan is to spend the winter in Bangkok. From the middle of September to the end of March. I would love some recommendations of good areas to rent a condo for that period of time. I would prefer to be in a location. That is not as busy as downtown Bangkok. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

The most upscale area in Bangkok is Thong lo, but it's in a busy downtown area. If you want it a little more quiet try going across the river to the Thonburi area. There are nice condos from the BTS stations of Bang Wa to Krung Thonburi that are near the BTS, but not in a downtown area. Also, further north you have Pin Klao and Krung Thon Bridge areas that are a short bus ride across one of those bridges into Bangkok.
