S Pass Application 2023

Chloe Pham44

Hello everyone, is it possible to get an S Pass even if I only have highschool diploma? Got an offer from a local Sg bank for an IT-related role.

I'm an undergraduate of SIM-UOL who just finished her degree in September.

I have a completion letter of bachelor degree which indicates “expected completion: September 2023â€‌

I am waiting for my Bachelor Degree official cert which I will receive in December.

My employer is applying for me a S Pass using my highschool diploma. Should I be worried if my work pass application will get rejection? Thanks a lot!

An S-Pass requires a technical certificate or university degree. This is clearly stated on MoM's website (which you should read).

Whether a completion letter is sufficient (if your employer submitted it) is a good question, but only high school is definitely not enough.

@beppi thanks for your response! It would be better if my employer submit my Bachelor degree completion letter together with high school cert? As they told me that they won’t be submitting my bachelor degree completion letter in this case..

You must have a degree or technical certificate to get an S-Pass.

If you apply without that, you are just wasting your time!

hi! I received an update from MOM application status.

“Your application has been approved. Check your In-Principle Approval (IPA) letter for the next steps.â€‌ Does it mean that my pass application has been approved? The next step is waiting for IPA letter? Thanks!

Your employer must have received IPA letter once your pass is approved. They will book a time for you to visit MOM to issue work pass card. You can ask your employer to share IPA.
