Not so difficult anymore.

There are here on Íæż½ã½ã threads about it.

In short: age is not a problem anymore, neither is income, as the sub degree that forbid men over 50 to marry a Cambodian woman has been inactivated a few years ago

Thailand, Hong Kong and Singapore are popular among wannabe married couples. Contact the embassy in the country of your choice, they will tell you exactly what to do.

Good luck.

Hi Joe, I maybe behind with the rules, does the Cambodia ministry accept a Cambodian female marriage outside of Cambodia ?.

Yes but you still have to get permission.

Your girl needs to go to the sangkat where she lived(s), to the ministry of interior and if all paperwork is done you will get a permit to marry.

Cheers.

Thanks Joe

Some of posts are well out of date, I'm am aware of all the rest of the hoops you go through, but if you are retiring to Cambodia and want to be married it's best to marry in Cambodia, register it, then your 3 years start to getting a duel passport, then you can visit all the ASEAN and have land, toni
