Need accommodation advice in Arusha? Find tips for sharing flats or budget apartments near Usa River to meet locals and save money.

Hi folks,

I need accommodation help in Arusha. Arrived a few weeks ago, need to leave hotel for more regular lodging. Would prefer sharing a flat or apartment to a) meet people who already know their way around and b) keep within budget.

All leads/suggestions welcome!

PS My office is actually 20 minutes outside Arusha, on the highway to the airport (close to Usa River), so I would consider living outside of town also. Whatever works best.

PPS Mariya, have you tried out those places you got suggestions for?
