Closest gym at around 8 to 9km from the entrance of the park entrance gate. Mauritius being a tiny island, it doesn't seem that far away. Lots of gyms in the Black River district as well, i wouldn't say they are that far....it depends on how close you are looking for...

Heritage fitness gym at La Gaulette, there's a crossfit gym at Tamarin, maybe you could contact them to know whether you could use their facilities (find them on FB). There's riverland as well, gym access is around Rs1000 per month (Riverland Sports Club Tamarin)
