My hubby and I are currently in south beach, Miami. Probably be here for a couple of years but no longer - just long enough to soak up every crazy thing about this place.

I'm hoping to meet more expat Brits here - maybe even fellow Scots - I hear lots of British accents (and just about every language on the planet) on the streets here - but I never know whether to introduce myself as so many are probably tourists ... perhaps I'll pluck up the courage.

I really like this site, and who knows maybe the blogging community will prove fruitful on my expat search.

My hubby is American and we've been in Ohio for the past 6 years - very glad to move out of the midwest!! My husband got a promotion in his job that brought us down here (although with the change in living standards we're either just as well of or worse than in Ohio).
By the way Miami is not America - it should have a title all of its own!! I fell the need to really learn Spanish and fast!!!
