I realize that January was probably not a great time to start this.

Everything in our environment is solid frozen to the ground

Nut I had a good kick from one of my blog friends.
We were talking about recycling.
I said, there is no recycling going on here in Hungary where I live.
Wrong.

I remembered that we have containers for paper, glass bottles and plastic bottles.

I'm such a moron sometimes.

So, yesterday I did my first green thing in months and recycled paper and plastic bottles

I made a little website for the project - not very pretty, but useful

Thanks for the nudge...I'll get going on that now...

Just found your project - Good for You!!

I always try and remember to take a bag with me when I go out on walks, to put in the bits of plastic and water bottles and general trash that I stumble over. I also recycle as much as I possibly can. I'm not sure I'll manage the camera though - I'm not so good at the technology!

But I am certainly with you in spirit, and will continue to do my bit to keep our environment clean and green.

Will add you asap.

I'm in the mountains, and my agoraphobia kinda strikes when I'm not in my own environment, but wish you luck with this project.
Just across my building (here in the snow), we have the three bins... I should start thinking about putting my recyclable garbage in there, but it's cooooooold !

Nicole, I took the bag, I took the camera, I picked up the garbage (mostly plastic with some shotgun shells mixed in) and TOTALLY forgot to take a picture!  *forhead slap*

I'll post about the effort and try again.  I suppose picking up the trash is most important, but blogging about it and getting others doing it is important too....sorry. 

There is this abandoned moto out there, that should take me a while to haul out.  *gasp*

The project is still running.

I had a couple more clean up projects from people that usually come to my blog.

I have an inquiry with the EU running regarding EU littering laws (not that those guys are very helpful).
Thing over here is, that clean up projects in my woods will end with me having ten million ticks. All the trash here is in the hedges and those are infested with ticks.
I think here in Hungary I'll check it more on the legal side.

Any ideas and suggestions welcome for the project

I encourage the idea, i got the same too, i was waiting to gather a big collection first.
