Some literature say that people who are open, agreeable, emotionally stable, can effectively survive in culturally different country. Are you agree with it?

Yes, of course.  Although, I wouldnt say that having these traits are enough to guarantee that one is happy being an expat.

Yes, I totally agree.
In order to survive in a foreign country you first have to accept its culture. Being open minded and happy with yourself allows it.

I believe we do create our circumstances to a large extent and so, consequently, if we are relaxed, able to listen and to share joy then sure we´ll often meet these traits in others.
