What's the best way to transfer money to Mauritius? by nileshd

What have been your experience transferring money from the US to Mauritius? Is it as straightforward as opening a Mauritian Bank account and doing a Wire Transfer from US Banks? Do the Mauritian Banks need any proof of source of funds etc..?
