Just let you know that after your nationality is approved (4 month) commune Brx 1000 will take up to 2 more months to process your file and to put it all in the system ….

Mia0210

@maharaji1984 Exactly! I agree with you. But this person simply enjoys waiting, enjoys pleasing the officials, so let’s just not interfere… After all, they never asked for our unsolicited advice... Read More

Mia0210

@ievgenfeldmann Have you checked that? Btw, it's not a commune who does that, but the Parket. As soon as they are ready with the decision, Nationality certificate immediately appears in Iris Box/Mon dossier/Mijn Burgerprofile. If you don't have it ... Read More

@ievgenfeldmann Just letting you know what you’re really doing is choosing to humiliate yourself by obediently waiting, instead of simply booking an appointment to apply/collect your ID card, bringing a printed copy of your citizenship ... Read More

Mia0210

@Jamilahmls94Hello,Unfortunately, since you are already an adult, you cannot apply for Belgian citizenship based solely on the fact that your father was Belgian. Article 12bis §1, 2° applies only to minors whose Belgian parent has properly ... Read More

Mia0210

@Liwane The difference between going with an appointment and without one is significant. If you just walk in to ask without an appointment, the clerk can easily brush you off and tell you to wait longer — even if, after 4 months, the applicant ... Read More
