Hi,

I wanted to know what are the options(price) in Montevideo for translating following documents from english to spaish.

1. Birth certificate
2. Marriage Certificate
3. Police Clearance Certificate
4. Degree certificate.

Don't forget your documents also need to be either apostilled or legalised depending on the country that issued them before bringing them here. Also a police report is usually only valid for 6 months from the date it is issued.

The prices for many such services are standard and not that expensive.

You also need proof of income which has to be verified by an escribano or abogado and they need to write a letter for Immigration indicating your income is legitimate, accurate and sufficient to support yourself and anyone else coming with you as a dependent.

You do not need to have everything ready for your first appointment but your file will gather dust until it is complete.
