Which area is U.S. fave, Col. Del Sacramento or Punta & why?
I am curious as to which of these two towns Americans favor and why? Which one has more expats and beautiful historical seaside towns?L.P.

I think there are more expats in Punta but it is mostly highrise apartments along the beaches. Apart from Colonia I cannot think of anything that would qualify as a beautiful historic seaside town.
That's what I thought. I was looking at photos of old colonia del Sacramento and I was in awe!
