How did you manage to adjust to Trinidad and Tobago?

How long does it take to feel at home? Would you say it is an easy process?

After living abroad for 30 years from a business point of view it was and sometimes still is difficult to adjust to the Trini style of doing business.

Life in a general sense though is fabulous. Laid back, never in a hurry, great food, and lots of outdoor activities and places to go and see.

Successful integration into Trinidad and Tobago is totally dependent on your mind set. Face the reality that things work differently in the Caribbean and just keep calm and the process will be smoother.
