Oi gente,

I'm about to apply for a retirement visa for Brasil, and noticed that one of the requirements is to have health insurance.聽 As a retired member of the US military, I am covered world-wide through TriCare.聽 Please tell me if this coverage is accepted by Brasil as one having the needed health insurance when applying for a visa.聽

TriCare should be acceptable; the people who can tell you for sure will be the ones at the Consulate where you'll be applying for your visa, and that's a question they should be ready for.聽 If the Consulate accepts it, no one at Immigration or the Federal Police should object.
