Pet Friendly Accommodation In Suva

Hi all,

We are thinking about bringing our dog out to Suva from NZ for the next couple of years. Can anyone give any advice about rental properties in Suva and how open they are to having tenants with dogs, as well as whether any appropriate accommodation is available (and rough costs)? Also if anyone has info about the approximate cost of transporting a dog into Fiji from NZ (I am guessing it's expensive!) that would be great.

Any info much appreciated.

In general, dogs are outside pets in Fiji.聽 Rarely will a dog be inside unless there's a cyclone or fireworks scaring them.

Sorry I can't answer your question directly, but if you rent a house normally there wouldn't be a problem having a dog in the yard.聽 You may have a hard time finding a furnished rental flat that will allow a dog inside.
