September to November is the best time to visit San Francisco. Daily temperatures are at their highest across the peninsula, usually in the mid to high 60s, but often reaching into the 80s and 90s, and make for a sweltering downtown and a jam-packed Golden Gate Park.

Thank you for your input Robert.
I was in SF in July of this year and I loved the city! It is to be noted that the summer is definitely not the best time of the year to visit: it was packed with tourists and accomodation gets a bit more expensive.

HMG Hotels

With global warming the weather is changing quickly now.
Years back the clients of my hotels was making online reservations for september and november and now because of global warming El nino... They made reservations for July and August to be sure to have the best weather,.. But do not forget than San Francisco is fogy and windy
