Hello

chuckle_butty

Hello you,

I've been a member of the ex-pat "brigade" for about 8 months now. I was mostly connected to the Egypt forums (long, boring story)....but have decided to spread my "metaphorical" wings.

Distant family are in Los Angeles and Oregon and I will treading on Stars & Stripes soil in June this year. Just in time to watch the World Cup in your saloons ( I seriously hope you have the swing doors!!).  ;)

I'm just here for the gossip and to have a nosey around. If you have questions about the UK - please, please drop me a line. I love to talk.......................and listen of course, lol.

I've never seen those doors - except at Disneyland.

Dear Uness4ever & HaileyinHongKong,

Hello to you both. I'm a little upset about those doors.  Lol.

Visit your family in L.A. and stop by Frontierland.

Frontierland........could this be my simple dream come true?

:up::D

I don't ask for much in life. (fortunately I've never been disappointed)

HaileyinHongKong

They closed Fort Wilderness, so it's not as much of a dream as it used to be.

World Cup is a footnote here, you may be disappointed in the lack of interest.
Cricket and rugby not too famous either, but you can get fish and chips most anywhere.

Thank you Mugtech, appreciated.
