Toronto or Vancouver ?

Hi there,

I'm 21, from Singapore, looking forward to migrate to Canada.
Well, anyway, I am looking for a finance related job as I will be graduating with a Business and Accountancy degree soon. I speak English, and a little bit of French.
Here comes the question: Is it better to live in Toronto or Vancouver?
Although I have no contacts over there, after I graduate,I hope to either get a PR followed by a job or the other way round.

Hope you guys can share some info with me, or if there is anyone in the same situation as me, I'd really like to stay in contact with you.

hi keyofheart,

personally, i'd suggest you focus on western canada (b.c. or alberta). economy in ontario is not performing well although indicators show alberta is much stronger. vancouver is stunning. i've lived there and it supports a better lifestyle balance than toronto. the mountains are stunning. the only problem with vancouver may be cost of living. it's expensive and you'd want to live in the city so factor that in to your decision. the commute from the suburbs is exhausting.
