TB and new residency in UAE

Abhilashprasannan

Hi I am Dr ABILASH PRASANNAN dentist , Sai ganesh medical center sharjah.

I had seen lots of people searching for tb related questions about residency permit in UAE , TODAY I will say about my friend who has TB scar. ( I am not a specialist in laws regarding in UAE) but I will say what he  has gone through.

Actually my friend was first time in UAE and he got a job. As per the visa process he went for medial checkup over there while on Xray they came to see the old TB scar, they asked about his medical history and he truthfully told about his old TB disease and even he showed them the certificate from the govt which  mentioned clearly that he is free from the disease.
He actually finished his DOTS course by 2011 and he has been certified that he is free from the disease but the scar still remain, he was asked to come again after 3 days for further checkup  again he went and told him to wait for 2 days and today on 26 Oct 2018 morning the main Dr caned and said you r medically unfit and to leave the country immediately.
The Dr said and I QUOTE( people with old TB scar who is applying for first time for UAE residency will not get VISA)
He was immediately deported and given life ban . I think this will clear some peoples doubt about TB scar.if u have any doubt u can msg.me about TB scar.

Thanks for your post.

This has always been clear.   I have commented many times on similar threads where I have repeatedly told people to forget about the UAE if they have old TB as they will not be given a visa if they are new applicants.   But unfortunately, people don't listen and want to believe that an exception will be made in their case.
