Hi all,

I just want to say I am very happy to have joined this forum and I hope I can be of help for people moving to this region.

About myself, I have been living in Abu Dhabi for over 6 years now and have my wife and 2 kids here. I started here as an education advisor with ADEC and after working for several years found that this wasn't enought for me and I wanted to start my own business. I started an HR Consultancy freezone and launched it last year and it has been a very interesting ride learning about Abu Dhabi business networks etc. Right now I've joined up with a strong local partner and I now run a fully government licensed recruitment and training company here in Abu Dhabi.

I have lots of information for newcomers and I hope I can assist in any way plus by offering jobs as well. Don't worry I'm not going to spam the message boards with lots of useless crap! I'm keen on helping anybody settle in the UAE. I would also like some help in understanding more about other countries and how people fare relocating to here or elsewhere.
