Changing dollars to lira

To travel to turkey, best transfer dollar through bank in USA to turkey bank in lira , meaning wire transfer , or carry dollars with me and exchange it when arrive to turkey ? Worries from the rate changing every hour?? Any advice please ?

You can take Dollars with and easy to exchange here. Don't afraid for exchange difference because at the moment dollar is going highly in Turkey and very difficult going down like under TL so what ever happen your money will keep the value...

I m leaving in Istanbul, so I don't know that much about Alanya, just I can say surely in genarel and all over in Turkey at the airports, hotels and banks are doing expensive exchanges then out side, I mean once you arrive make exchange just 50 or 100 dollars in the airport to have some Turkish money ( it's already enough for 1-2 days) for transfer or other needs then go to centre of Alanya or where you are in day time, you will find many exchange office out side of the hotel in the centre they are more cheaper and you can check as well the rents before you go inside the office, that will help you to comparing between the other others..
