Welcome to yhe forum.

Most compounds have waiting lists, try to get accomodation via your employer...they may be able to help.

Alternatively, get your employer to arrange some temporary accomodation for when when you arrive.

You can look for accomodation when you arrive, perhaps close to your place of work...warning... Traffic is worst here than Spain.

you can find many compounds here in  Riyadh.  as what SaudiUK had mentioned, arrange first with your employer a temporary accommodation (hotel or furnished apartment) and later on, you can personally look for a place on your own choice.
on the other hand, don't worry, we are here from ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ to be your friends in riyadh.
