Adoption laws

Does anyone know adoption laws here. Whats the legal process for expatriates to do that? We don't know whom to approach. I'd really appreciate a prompt reply.

One of my husband's office mate has started the process of adoption of an Indian kid through a Dubai agent and that guy has told that it will take around 18-24 months for the kid to come here in KSA. But even he's not sure how it works after the kid will get indian passport.

Adoption of indian kids to foreign nationals in highly regulated, its regulated even for indian nationals. The question I believe is how to adopt in KSA, for which the best solution is to approach any charity organization or legal adviser and get his advice. As far as I know I dont think a foreigner can adopt a saudi kid, if you are checking on how to bring a adopted child to ksa, the normal visa / immigration process will apply.
