Bringing food and non prescription tablets

cassieindubai

I've seen the massive list of stuff not allowed but how strict is this?

I have some dairy free protein powder and wheat free pasta I'm bringing in my suitcase. Worse case scenario, will it just get confiscated or is this a big problem?

Also what about really basic stuff like Panadol do I have to throw it away?

I bring my personal medication without prescription all the time. Pasta and protein should not be a problem either.

You can bring such non prescribed drugs as it has been never checked in my case whenever I travel with family, as most of us carry such medicines.

Once I remember; I had a huge mouth wash bottle in my luggage which I managed (not intended to) to get into the kingdom and later I came to know that it was contating alcohol. How it got through; I dont know. Thats why called as Magic Kingdom :)
