hi Christos, welcome to the Íæż½ã½ã!

"Any info on conditions" is extremely general.  Why don't you click on the link below and you'll see all the topic categories.  Click on the ones that interest you and read, read, read!

If you have a specific question that hasn't been answered, please do ask :)

you are actually right. it was a very general question. My main concern is actually my wife who won't be able to work there so she will have to spend most of her time in the compound. Are there any universities in Riyadh where she could do a masters in special education (autism to be more specific). Another thing is what actually the life of a 35 year old woman with no kids will look like there?

Please read the threads (all of this has been discussed before, many times).  To do a specific search, go to the google custom search box (rectangle, upper left) and type in, for example, "Universities MA Special Education Riyadh" and press the 'Go' button.

BTW, schools are segregated here (male/female) and many (most?) universities are for nationals only.

Welcome choudel

Hope you enjoy here and your wife reach safely.

Also there are privet universities.
She can try to apply at KFSH hospital for research. They have dedicated center for autism.

Thank you all very much for your help. I'm going through the posts now in order not to repeat questions already asked. It's nice to feel somebody has the will to help you.

Welcome :) I did not read previous comments, but my recommendation will be: if you have an opportunity choose a compound for living - it makes life in Saudi much more easier :) And you are always welcome to ask any questions if you need help :)
