Saudi Tourism Visa with intending to extend/renew without exiting KSA.

RashR

We are currently residing in Bahrain. while waiting for my Saudi work visa. I wanted to apply for a visit visa for my  family and once my work visa arrives we all go together and move to Khobar.

at MOFA website when we select Family Visit Visa, the Saudi Mission in Manama disappear on the dropdown menu selection. it only appears when we select Tourist Visa and the rest.

I wonder if we select Tourism Visa for my Family. Can this visa be renewed without exiting the Kingdom? for how long can we keep renewing this tourism visa? as intend to keep my family with me for as long as work there.

I already answered you here :

And I think you are confused. When a visa, whether visit or tourist is issued, it has a validity and the number of days you can stay in the country on each entry. The days can be extended (up to a limit after which you need to exit and re-enter to reset the timer) but the validity CANNOT be extended. This means you need to apply for a new visa when the validity expires. To apply for a new visa, you CANNOT be in the country and have to leave to reapply.

The ONLY thing that fulfills your requirements is an iqama which you don't want to or can't go for.

You are not going to get a different response no matter how many different threads and forums you post it on. It is what it is.
