Hi, Ahmed is absolutely right regarding the compounds. I just went through the exercise and its not easy. Having said that, the salary is reasonable depending on how much you want to save. All the four children would soon be attending school so you have keep that in mind. The sufficiency of the salary is directly proportional to how frustrated or under paid you are at your current job. There is no harm in taking a start and opportunities are always available once you are here.

Hi Frotabjj,

Upon reading and following the thread of posts here, I am happy for you that you arrive safely and still enjoying your time there. I would like to ask because i am really concerned about the offer of SAR4500 as Production Supervisor. I got 4 years experience here in my country Philippines. Package includes 30 days yearly leave with pay, medicals, 25% (1125 SAR) housing allowance and 10 % (450 SAR) for transportation.

Are those packages reasonable to accept? I found it kind of cheap. Since it is my first time to work abroad would that offer from an employer is the best salary for asian as he mentioned (that is high enough for you). Though I am single and now considering to save for my future, I am quite tempted to accept it. How about the security and safety there?

Thank you very much for reading and spending time to answer my questions.

Regards...
