Is 2100 SAR a month enough?

victor01911

Hi. It is my first time to work overseas as a waiter in Dammam. I just want to ask. Is 2100 SAR a month enough? Free accomodation and transportation.
Thank you!

It's depends on you if you have a room it's enough.

they said it is free accommodation.
Thanks for replying.

Mostly the room would be sharing and not single as there would be another employees staying at the same place with you.

You can save around 1500 if you don't spend on anything else from your salary cause food and accommodation is free and you can keep another 600 for any expenses.

Food is not free. Food allowance is included in salary. I think it is 300.

Then it is kinda less

There are avg. salaries posted on sites like Bayt.com Naukrigulf.com LinkedIn.com. 2100 SAR per month is low and Arabs don't tip. Frankly, 2100 sounds like a slave wage, which is fine because KSA loves wage slaves.

well, this question is best answered with asking follow-up questions -   is it more than you are making now? is it worth to leave your native land, family, friends for that money? if so, then it is enough. u can try to negotiate or keep applying
