Can I bring an older car to Saudi for a few years?

Hi,
I know the 5 year rule starts a few months BEFORE the end of each year for someone bringing in a car they may sell. But I am in KSA now and thinking of trying to bring my 1996 vehicle in.聽 Anyone have an idea on that? I will not want to sell it here. I will want to leave the country with it when I leave but it may be a few years... Maybe if I was driving it in from another country???

the sense of measure and distance in Saudi is very different. I mean you have to travel alot here. So getting an old car is not really recommended.
