Is it ok to register SOCPA if my iqama is labour?

Good day everyone,


              I have a doubt regarding SOCPA registration. I came to Saudi Arabia looking for an  Accountant job. I have transferrable iqama. My current iqama is Labour. Is it ok to apply for SOCPA even if you havnt secured job and your iqama is labour? Kindly guide me .

SOCPA registration is only gor working professional in Finance/ Accountants .


better you continue with Labor profession. there is issues with accounts professions.


if company wants to change your profession they will guide you.

@Onlineon7190 Thanks for the reply. But the issue when I attended interviews..they asked if I done SOCPA registration. Also when few vacancies showed up..they asked SOCPA registration must. So I thought If I can register SOCPA, I might get an advantage. But wanted to make sure If I can do this with my current status. Also,
