Most likely every expat has the same story to express and I am not at all different from others. We left our home countries due to unemployment. I being Muslim have a revered attraction towards this country and expectations were high. Alhamdulillah I earned and shall remain indebted to the nation for giving me the chance to explore the world.

I gained a lot from this country, despite there being some odd situations and do believe every country has pros and cons. I must keep people enlightened about the fact that savings in Saudi Arabia are excellent when we compare it with the rest of the world. You are right that excitement was huge than challenges we were facing. Global economics has affected Saudi Arabia also at the present juncture. The cost of living has increased compared to the erstwhile years and expat families consider the obligation of levy as a burden. People here in Saudi Arabia are very polite throughout, but have less tolerance for people who interfere in their personal matters that I consider very positive.

Everyone knows that the development happening in Saudi Arabia is exponential and the standards incorporated are with the latest technology tools. It is quite understood that technology has changed major sectors over the years and Saudi Arabia has a huge potential. They have got empty land and many places are yet unexplored, thus having potential support with finance in hand Saudi Arabia has Glory on cards.

To improve the quality of life for expatriates’ Saudi government has established E-Services for labor, in order to protect their rights. These portals bridge the gap between employees and the employer having grievance cells at place. The kingdom has advanced the services to receive direct complaints from the labor through HRSD and Najiz. The protection of expats rights are well addressed, however there are some employers who try to avoid the standards and social justice.

To me, it's an overall experience and picture.

Best Regards,

Abid Hussain.
