thinking of moving to Doha and in need of advice

I have just taken a teaching offer at a uni in Doha on a salary of $32,000 QR /month + free accommodation +free medical care. Is this ok for a couple with聽 three kids?

I will also like to know about the cost of living and mode of transport to UAE (esp Dubai) if need be.

Hi there,

Congratulations. Cost of living here is expensive. If you are coming here with your family, you have to make sure the company sponsor for your kids education. I heard it can be expensive. Not in the right position to advice about childrens education.

Can you give an idea about the typical life costs like regular meal in restaurant.. taxi, mobile calls, intrnet cost, Coke, Ciggerates,..
