Dear Members,

I am here in Kuwait from last two months with VISA18, I am looking for a part-time job (After 7PM).

I am good in Accounts and hold a Master Degree in Business Administration. Will be thankful if anyone can give me some lead.

its been legalized but not all the police in kuwait got the memo, meaning it depends on the way the authority feels when they check you, and they are having a very sour turn on all expats so it would be cautioned against (a part time job).

Hey,

I honestly don't know about any part time jobs specially at that time. Worst case scenario, if you didn't find one, you should consider tutoring. I know a lot of people who take on tutoring for an extra source of income. The flexible timing is a perk.

Thank you for sharing your idea, I use to take tuitions when I was in India but frankly speaking I don鈥檛 like to take tuition as I think I am not good in teaching.

I was looking for the jobs like salesman or cashier at some mall or shopping center or Theaters, let鈥檚 see if I will able to find anything or not ;-)

not to burst听 your bubble, but all the aforementioned positions you mentioned as seeking are subject to regular checks by the ministry- all salesmen and employees in a shop have their names and civil ID numbers on a list hanging in the shop.

in the end it will be your efforts that land you that second job, not relying on others to search for u - especially online. the job you seek will be by word of mouth, so increase your contacts list.

and if all else fails, there are such things as freelance works, write articles, take pictures etc. to supplement your income.

Thank you for your concern

I had words with my contacts; they were telling that 鈥測ou can join any mall or shopping center as part time worker with your company Civil ID鈥� they told the only condition is I need to get clearance from local police station and try to get something in written. I have doubt about the same.

Although, now I am quitting the thought of Part time job. It seems bit tough to get part time job in Kuwait. Planning to engage myself in some recreational activities.
