Which are good shopping areas with markets . and not too up market designer crap

i heard about wehdat.. I was around there they have everything. alabdali market i think it opens fridays or saturday, wasat albalad, jabal alhussain, Hashem alshomali they have blocks full of stores.

Hi all,

I agree with shirazi. I also believe jabal el-hussein is another option. I mean the old city. It is one street, but real antiquity!! It is a combination of a camp and a market...

how about Down Town (el balad) it has alot of markets and cheap ones as well, Jabal el Hussain is a good option too

I forgot to say that Jafra is a nice place for relaxation. It is an oldfashioned coffee shop.. I enjoy going there by midnight because it is very quiet and cool then... In fact, I am going there tonight for hookah by midnight! You are all invited!! (I know it could be too late 听
