Looking to join or start a mum's group:)

lausannemama

Hi!

I'm Laura and am looking to join or start a mum's group with my 5 month old son. We have just moved to Lausanne and we would love to meet up with some other mums and bubs for a coffee and catch up.

Let me know if you are interested!

Hi there,

Is your new group open exclusively to mums?

I moved to Switzerland (currently living near Lausanne) 3 years ago and haven't made any friends of my own. My wife is Swiss so I have her family and friends as a means of socialising but I haven't made friends outside of her circles.

In April last year my wife gave birth to our first child (Lydia), and I would love to be able to swap experiences and ideas with people in similar situations. I also enjoy coffee and croissants, if that's any help! ;)

Hope you are well and enjoying life in Lausanne!

Paul

Hi!
I've got a 4 month old girl - would like to get to know other mums/dads too!
One thing that there is already is a group of mums & mums-to-be who meet every other tuesday in st Laurent starbucks (not today). Let me know if you want more info on this.
I'm keen to do other activities too - maybe go once a week for a walk somewhere nearby with the little ones?
Cheers,
Alice

Hello Laura,
My name is Helen and I am from England (near Manchester).  I have one daughter aged 5 months and I have just arrived in Lausanne with my husband, who is originally from Lebanon.  He speaks French, English and Arabic fluently, but unfortunately I only have ‘schoolgirl standardÂ’ French, so thatÂ’s my first challenge.  We are moving here for his work.  We have been living/working abroad for more than 4 years, mainly in the Middle East and Africa.  This is our first period abroad with a baby, so I am keen to make friends for information and support as soon as possible!  Look forward to hearing from you. Helen
