Advice for flats with sports activities

karenkstuart

I will be visiting different areas of Spain over the next year to find the right location for our move.  My first area of reconnaissance will be the Alicante area.  In all areas, I am looking for a condo/flat overlooking the water with sports activities—tennis, walking paths, gym, pool, etc.  I would love any information regarding not only the Alicante area but specifically housing that meets my requirements.  Thanks in advance for your help.

perhaps check out Catalonia area as well.  Arenys de mar, Mataro, etc, close to Barcelona yet quiet villages and small towns along the coast.  I live in Arenys de mar, 55 minute train ride to the city center of Barcelona….I live close to the train station, town center, beaches ,pool, etc

As @Lmflmf1 says, Barcelona and the surrounding region is great. We have friends in Sitges, and they love it. I like Tarragona too, and Cambrils is popular.

We are currently in Elche, a more traditional Spanish city near Alicante (it's Alicante-Elche Airport). We really enjoy living here, but Alicante city is good, and there are many lovely towns and villages on the Alicante (Costa Blanca) coast.
