We have been talking about loneliness when you are abroad, let's now talk about how to make friends (locals and other expats) when you're living in Slovakia

Which are your best tips to meet people and to make friends in Slovakia??

personally, i have found that once you are involved in a specific slovak community (be it church or work) they are very open and willing to be friends with you. i have found an abundance of hospitality through my job and can honestly say the hospitality here may be better than in texas.
I guess if anything I would say avoid being too loud聟 and聟 drink with them. The more you seem willing to learn their language the more likely they are to open up (for instance, a simple dobry den can go a long way)
