Good primary schools in Paisley Scotland

Hi, my name is Meryl, I am from Cape Town, South Africa.My husband is working in Paisley,Scotland.My kids are 12 and 8.We will be joining my husband soon.Can someone please advise me on good primary schools in that area.

Hi Meryl, in general it normally just depends where you live and what school is in your catchment area, normally you either opt for the non denominational school or the Catholic one. If you thought that a particular School was preferable but that it was outwith your catchment area then you have to make a special application to enrol there and it does not always get granted depending on how many pupils are in the intake from the catchment area and also how many are applying from outwith the catchment area. Its a bit of a gamble and tbh state schools tend to be more or less the same no matter where you are.
