I am in process of obtaining diving license. ( Theory part is done and practical part is in progress. I failed today and will try again).

- You could buy 'The New Traffic Code for Everyone' this book in English (latest version) from this website Possibly it is also available on Amazon. I read and repeated this book 3 times and it helped a lot for questions.

- For theory, you could try Exam simulator on official website. ( This simulator supports only Romanian language but I used google translator to understand question and Answer. I did many test on this to get confidence.

- You could try   which supports English language...but it is poorly translated. ( Maybe they will improve but this website is very helpful and many question are exactly same asked in real exam)

Hi, Romania driving license can be obtained after passing theory and road test.

You need to find and register to a driving school ( who provides English speaking instructor) and complete a necessary hours of training. Once this is done you need to register for theory exam. Driving school will help you to prepare some of the documents.

For theory exam :-

I already got my Romanian driving license (AM, B1, B) by exchanging my old one and I would like to get the A category.
As I am not quite good at the Romanian language, I assume I can pass the exam for the A category (motorcycle) in English.

Does anyone know a good driving school that teaches both theoretical and practical in english?

Hello there it is 2022 and We have the same problem with my wife, she made 400 test with DRPCIVteste.ro in English but there are many mistakes still and TODAY she just get 16 points in the REAL EXAM because the that exam is almost totally different.
Somebody know a better program or a book, which one is closer to the real tests?

We learned from the same book and from the same website but its not good actually, the Real test is different.

I've said this many times.  Learn the LAWS, not the questions of some practice books.  It's best to do this in Romanian also, not by flawed translations.

When I learnt to drive many years ago back in the UK, you were asked a couple of questions while sitting in the car after the practical test. Now the tests are separate and the questions are done on a computer.

Hello, I hope this help. My road of passing the theory test wasn't smooth sailing, until i passed my Theory test. I've failed 2 times and thankfully the 3rd times i managed and passed it. As everyone says it's not 100% the same question that will appear in the actual test, so you must expect and  learn the laws throughly. Some questions are hard to understand and will make you confused. I highly recommend [link moderated]/. if i knew this website at first I might have passed the first time (you can translate it in english).  It explains everything and it has a video to fully understand the laws ( the video is in romanian language) .Try to take as many tests as possible snd make a note on the difficult questions to try and understand them. I read the book once because I focused more on the video demonstration, this way it's easier to understand.

Tips on the day of your exam:

Try to be calm and don't hurry, skip the questions that you're not 100% sure, take your time.
